Mistywood is our
a wooded hillside on central Whidbey Island in Puget Sound. Here the thick overstory has grown back to heal the scars of logging that occurred over 50 years ago. Alder and fir, rhododendrens and huckleberries, ferns and the damp scent of the forest dampen the sounds of nearby civilization, and mask from sight the homes and roadways downslope from our campsite. It is a place of healing.
